Thousands of Albanian-Americans took part in the Albanian Parade in Manhattan

“Albanian Parade” was held in Manhattan, an annual event involving thousands of Albanian-Americans. The parade under the red and black colors aims at the introduction of Albanian values to many foreign citizens and tourists who visit the city. Albanian music, black and red dresses, national flags and American flags dominated the parade. The initiator of the Albanian Parade in the United States was VATRA association. It was in Boston, 1917, when the “VARA” musical band and volunteer troops crossed over to Boston.
