“Gjirokastra Cultural Evening” hosted in the premises of the Presidency

The President of the Republic Ilir Meta hosted yesterday the “Gjirokastra Cultural Evening” in the premises of the Presidency. Members of the Parliament, local authorities, and representatives of the diplomatic corps, representatives and heads of the Forum for Gjirokastra Values Protection, artists, singers, ethnographers and culture personalities attended this artistic-cultural event t. “Ethnographic Gjirokastra ” is the exhibition opened by the painter Stavri Cati and”Songs of the café” documentary-artistic film was promoted in this activity.In the greeting speech held in this event President Meta said that “Every part of the Albanian territory is rich in cultural values ​​and traces of every historical stage”.”Out of this huge heritage treasure, today we have chosen Gjirokastra, to symbolically promote the endless diversity of our ethno-cultural values.
