Speaking at London Summit, the Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, said progress has been made with regard to negotiations between Greece and Albania on pending issues. Hahn stated today that changes need to be made to help Europe move forward. Next week he is expected to visit Tirana and Skopje.
“Progress has been made and the negotiation efforts between Albania and Greece on pending issues should be evaluated. There needs to be a change to advance Europe. Since 2015 Balkan integration interests have been increased. Next week I will be in Skopje and Tirana for a visit to map out further steps for the negotiations and the follow-up steps these countries should pursue.
