Meta: Maritime border agreement should be ratified in parliament when we have a Constitutional Court

During an interview for the Voice of America, President Ilir Meta talked about the progress of negotiations with Greece on the issue of the sea, while praising it with positive marks.

“I have good relations with my neighbors and I do not like to enter into polemics. It’s been 10 years and this issue has not been resolved yet and there is a Constitutional decision. I have put my best efforts to contribute to the right solution. It is a delicate issue for both countries”. President Meta underscored a more vital condition for the progress of this process. “I made it clear to Rama that it is very important that such an agreement should be ratified in parliament when we have a Constitutional Court, otherwise it would not serve the final solution of this issue,” Meta said.
