Zaev: Important for our two countries to open negotiations with EU

Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev after the meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama talked about the ‘political stalemate’ in our country.

According to Zaev, dialogue and co-operation between the majority and the opposition is what paves the way the the state’s progress and helps achieve the European goal.

“We have come here as friends today and we give a friendly message that through dialogue there is a solution”.

We were in opposition 21 months ago and I never gave an impression Europeans that we are against our road to the EU. State is the obligation of all. After the meeting with PM Rama we pledged boosting cooperation. We are friends of all Albanians and we only wish the best for this people, “Zaev said. It is important for our two friendly countries to receive the invitation to kick off talks with the EU and I hope we will succeed, “Zaev was quoted as saying.
