Two French MPs Jacques Maire and Liliana Tanguy paid an official visit to Albania. They had a meeting with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla and MP Blerina Gjylameti in the Presidency of the Assembly. The two French MPs said that the goal of their visit in Albania was to strengthen relations between the two countries. “The purpose of our visit is to strengthen cooperation between countries. We aim to strengthen cooperation in tourism and infrastructure. Relations should also be boosted in the university domain. We want French language be learned in Albania. I was impressed by the quality of teaching in Albania. It is a good omen that in Albania the first foreign language is French. On the other hand, Taulant Balla said that France supports the opening of negotiations with Albania.
