Holland supports Justice Reform in Albania

Dutch Minister of Justice and Security Ferdinand Grapperhaus is holding an official visit to our country. The Dutch Minister had a meeting with the Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj. During an activity on launching a project that supports the School of Magistrates, a cooperation agreement was signed between the School of Magistrates and the Training and Judicial Studies Center in Utrecht, Netherlands, in the presence of new magistrates.In his speech, Minister Grapperhaus confirmed the full support of Holland in the monumental Justice Reform Initiative in Albania.He stressed that “the rule of law” is the focus of Albania’s EU integration and that Albania is on the right track.He assessed the vetting process as monumental and told the new magistrates that they are the hope of Albania, as only through strengthening the rule of law, the country will be integrated into the European Union.Minister Gjonaj underscored that “only through this approach we guarantee the Albanian citizens a justice system that they do deserve: right, independent and worthy for a European state”.
