City of Shkodra with its own touristic brand

 

Sometime soon, Shkodra will have its own touristic brand.

The Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans funded by the European Union and implemented by the Albanian government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is working to finalize the brand of Shkodra municipality, which will be beautiful  surprise on the eve  of the tourist season.

This program aims to establish a partnership between municipalities and civil society organizations in order to provide better services to the citizens.

The program is working with a group of craftsmen from Shkodra, producing various clay objects with traditional motifs of Shkodra, aiming to revive a long tradition of these areas, which are a precious asset and a rare attraction for tourists and visitors.
The project is working to create the brand of Shkodra, which will be an added value for the development of the tourism of the area , increasing  of revenues  and the history of  Shkodra families.
