Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruci had a meeting with Netherlands Parliament Speaker Khadija Arib, who praised Albania’s achievements in the field of reforms and underlined in particular the achievements in the area of rule of law.
“The Netherlands demands high standards because they move us forward. The growth of standards is also closely linked with the interests of the Netherlands to increase investment in Albania. Exchanges between parliamentarians have been intense and will increase in the future,”Arib said.
On his part, Mr. Ruci informed Dutch Speaker Arib on Albania’s achievements in the five key priorities recommended by the European Council for opening negotiations, focusing in particular on the achievements of the justice reform, which Parliament Speaker appreciated as top reform of integration processes, and the fight against corruption and organized crime.
