The political crisis and the lack of dialogue between the political parties in Albania are being followed with great interest by foreign diplomats both in Europe and the United States of America. A delegation of the American Congress and the Atlantic Council are currently holding a meeting with the head of government Edi Rama, while earlier they had a meeting with the Head of State, Ilir Meta. The discussion between the parties has not been disclosed yet. Also at 11:15 this delegation has scheduled a meeting with the Speaker of Parliament Gramoz Ruci and at 15:30 with the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha. Prime Minister Edi Rama has not been reluctant to address public letters to the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, asking for unconditional dialogue. On the other hand, these calls have been dismissed by the head of the Democratic Party, who reiterated the fact that the first condition of crisis resolution is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the setting up of an interim government.
