Call for grants has been officially opened, in the framework of the project scheme EMBRACE – Enterprise Models that Build Relationship and Creative Economy. “This project, funded by the Italian organization Project Ahead and the European Union, through the European Union Delegation in Albania offers the opportunity for all NGOs to apply for a fund of up to 66 thousand Euros. According to the notification of the contracting authority, up to 10 projects will be funded through this call, the duration of the grant application is minimum 9 months and maximum 12 months, the total budget of the project proposals for each grant requested through this call should be at least € 3000 and maximum 7000 Euros.
The EMBRACE Project – Entrepreneurship Models that Build Relationship and Creative Economy”aims to contribute to the development of a social economy that fosters inclusive growth in the country. The Specific Objective of this Call for Proposals is to support the development of new ideas of social entrepreneurship or empowering existing ideas that contribute to social inclusion through integration and employment and economic development of the local community.
EU Ambassador, Luigi Soreca emphasized in his interview for Monitor magazine that projects such as EMBRACE, “Women in Mountainous Areas” and “Supporting Social Modeling Societies of Civil Society” provide concrete and tangible support for actions undertaken by civil society organizations applying business techniques to partnerships with the private sector.
