EUROPOL opens office in Tirana. Lleshaj: Important news for integration and fight against organized crime

From now on, EUROPOL will have an office in Tirana. The head of the Albanian police, Ardi Veliu, said that “the office of the EUROPOL liaison officer will be opened, adding that without cooperation with internationals, the fight against organized crime will not be successful.

“The fight against organized crime will not succeed unless there is cooperation with internationals. Cooperation is a necessity to create more security. Police have contributed to increasing security in the country. EUROPOL aims to improve co-operation between law enforcement agencies against organized crime, “said Veliu.

Earlier, Interior Minister Sandër Lleshaj had announced through the social network the opening of the new office of EUROPOL.
