Customs and tax revenues upward trend through 2019

Customs and tax revenues in the state budget at the end of the first six months of 2019 increased by 8.4 billion ALL.

According to the fiscal statistics published by the Ministry of Finance, revenues from customs, taxes, social security and other sectors reached ALL 225.5 billion in the first six months of the year.

Compared with the same period of the previous year, these revenues increased by 3.9%, driven by personal income tax, profit tax, local taxes and social security contributions.

According to the official data, income from profit tax increased by 14%, or 2 billion more than the plan.

Local government has collected 31% more income and revenues from special funds (social and health insurance) increased by about 6% on an annual basis.

While revenue from VAT, one of the taxes that generate more revenue for the budget, with 29% of the total for January-June have marked a decrease of 3%.
