Kosovo to hold early elections after Pm Haradinaj’s resignation

After the vote of the Mps  to dissolve the Parliament, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, said that the decision has accelerated the steps for holding elections . The president has not yet announced when the election date will be. From the day the Parliament is dissolved, the election date must be set no earlier than 30 days and no later than 45 days.

“Within my constitutional and legal competences and in full compliance with today’s decision of the Assembly, I will  make a decision to hold  early parliamentary elections in the Republic of Kosovo,” writes  President Thaçi’s response.
