Albania took over the leadership of the OSCE Organization. The news was made by the Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj. He stated that Albania officially takes over the OSCE Chairmanship at the OSCE Ministerial in Bratislava.”
Cakaj was in Bratislava with Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.
“After a powerful lobbying and preparatory capital work by Albanian diplomacy, supported by important European actors, both in the political, programmatic and organizational and logistical fields, Albania is now fully ready to lead a reliable, collaborative and effective Department ”, said Cakaj.
Prime Minister Rama assessed this historic event as a great honor and responsibility for the country.
“It is a great honor and responsibility to run this international organization, as well as the tremendous opportunity to make Albania shine at the forefront of the great work and challenges of the OSCE,” Rama writes.
