PM Edi Rama said that 90% of the works of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) have been completed. TAP is one of the biggest European projects for gas. The work completed includes the engineering part, the procurement procedures and construction. The entire pipeline has been completed and the compression stations in Greece and Albania have been installed. Meanwhile, the works in Italy have been completed at 65%.
Since October 2019, TAP has invested 25.5 million Euro in 240 projects, in support of the local communities. TAP will help integrating and diversification of the energy sources of Europe, by contributing in securing energy and for a sustainable energy production.
