Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in the official meetings he had in Prague that he is ready to meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in mid-June.
Also, Albin Kurti has announced that he will meet with the President of Serbia, Vucic in mid-June, in preparation for the continuation of the dialogue for the normalization of relations between the two countries, which is mediated by the European Union.
"We want a well-prepared, principled dialogue, as equal parties, where its essence is what the new American president, Joe Biden, has already expressed, but also many other world leaders that the solution has its name, that is, mutual recognition. "So neither Serbia recognizes Kosovo, but neither Kosovo recognizes Serbia and mutual recognition is what would greatly contribute to long-term peace, stability and security in the Balkans," Kurit said.
The European Union has warned that the first meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Vucic, is expected to take place before June 22, thus marking the resumption of dialogue.
The dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the European Union, started ten years ago. This process aims at the full normalization of relations between the two countries.
