"Vera Andrron Detin" is the Albanian film will be shown at the world premiere of the prestigious "Venice Film Festival".
The film has been nominated in several categories, that of "Best Film", "Best Director", "Special Jury Prize", "Best Actor and Actress" and "Best Screenplay".
The story of Vera, a woman who plunges into the bitter reality after the suicide of her husband, was written by Doruntina Basha, while the director was Kaltrina Krasniqi.
The film consists of a cast of actors; Teuta Ajdini Jegeni, Alketa Syla, Refet Abazi, Astrit Kabashi, Arona Zyberi, Aurita Agushi, Ilire Vinca, Xhevat Qorraj and some others.
The film is a co-production between Kosovo (Creative Puntoria Isstra, Vera Films), North Macedonia (Dream Factory) and Albania (Papadhimitri Productions) supported by the Kosovo Cinema Center, the Film Agency of North Macedonia and the National Cinematography Center.
Despite the latest developments regarding the pandemic, the 78th edition of the Venice Film Festival is back to give a "hug" to good art.
