The joint meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Republic of Albania will be held on Friday, November 26 in Elbasan.16 agreements are expected to be signed. The focus of the two governments will be in the field of free movement, education, justice, infrastructure, culture and facilitating cooperation and trade exchange.
The agreements are on social security, where the authorization for signing was requested from the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani and the agreement on residence permits for a period of 5 years, through a simple application and that to facilitate the procedure of recognition of diplomas.
A memorandum of understanding will be signed for the feasibility study for the construction or rehabilitation of the Durrës-Prishtina railway segment.
It is also expected that there will be agreements in the field of security. Kosovo and Albania have so far held 6 joint meetings, so far about 130 agreements, memoranda and cooperation protocols have been signed.
