Dritëro Agolli, the renowned author of Albanian letters passed away on February 3, 2017 at the age of 86. Writer, publicist, journalist and politician who has left behind a rich cultural heritage for the country.
Four years after his loss, the house of the great Dritëro will be turned into a museum. Mayor Erion Veliaj says that everything is on track to open his house in "Dibra Street ", where he lived and wrote his masterpieces.
His daughter, Elona, also announces the news through a post on social networks.
"On January 28, 1974, through this Authorization, the father was given the right to housing in the 85th Palace of Dibra Street (then called Bajram Curri Street). Until he closed his eyes he lived in this apartment. "Now, it will be turned into a museum house", says Elona Agolli.
