More than 50 Albanian and Belarusian entrepreneurs were part of the online forum "Perspectives of bilateral cooperation", organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tirana and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus. The economic advisor of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bashkim Sykja said that Albania is increasingly valued by Belarus not only as an attractive tourist destination, but also as a concrete opportunity for cooperation in the field of business and investment.
According to him, the opening of the representative office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus in Tirana, is a clear indicator of the interest of the Belarusian enterprise for Albania. Sykja said that "we aim to strengthen cooperation between the two chambers of commerce and industry, to promote trade, exports and investment in priority sectors of the economy." Explaining to the Belarusian entrepreneurs the facilities and opportunities that are approaching to do business in our country, he made an open invitation for concrete cooperation between the entrepreneurs of the two countries. He also made an open invitation for cooperation between the businesses of the two countries, as well as a presentation by the Chamber of Belarus. He assured for his part that the Chamber will be put at the service of the business to establish proper contacts or to assist the enterprise needs. The representative of the Chamber of Belarus in Albania, Aleksandër Gjurbavija expressed his readiness to be present for all the needs of the business and to establish the necessary contacts between the interested parties.
The forum presented the opportunities that each country offers. Aris Tasho, Director of the Foreign Relations Office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tirana, made a presentation of the Chamber and the investment climate in Albania. The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries are in the first steps of cooperation, a step that was concretized with this first forum and that will then be followed by concrete agreements between them.
