In the last 24 hours alone, the highest number of infections has been recorded, 836. Also in a single day 15 patients affected by COVID-19 died, the highest number of deaths recorded in a single day since the onset of the pandemic.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection calls on all citizens to respect the rules of hygiene, physical distancing and wearing a mask in any environment outside the home. Limit contacts and do not stay in any group with more than 10 people, to limit the spread of infection.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informs you about the situation in the last 24 hours in the country.2,677 tests have been performed, of which 479 tests were performed for screening reasons. 836 citizens tested positive for SARS COV2 virus in the last 24 hourPositive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities:

560 cases in Tirana, 31 cases in Fier and Elbasan, 30 cases in Vlora,

28 cases in Durrës, 24 cases in Kurbin, 21 cases in Shkodër, 16 cases in Kurjë,

15 cases in Pogradec, 14 cases in Mirdita, 10 cases in Kuçova,

9 cases in Gramsh, 8 cases in Malsi e Madhe, 7 cases in Puka,

5 cases in Lushnje and Kolonja, 4 cases in Korça, Saranda,

3 Devoll and Gjirkastër, 2 cases in Mallakastër, Mat and Dibër,

1 case in Tepelena, 1 case in Peqin.

In the last 24 hours 490 citizens have been recovered, bringing the number of cured to 15,055 since the beginning of the epidemic. Currently in 3 COVID hospitals, 436 patients are being treated, 10 in intensive therapy, 5 patients are intubated.
