Albania will be an observer at the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights

Albania's main objective is to join the European Union and to participate in the work of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, as an observer, will contribute to its gradual approximation to EU legislation and its successful preparation for membership in the European Union. The Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj, met this Wednesday, the first Representative of Albania in the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, Evis Alimehmeti, to whom she has guaranteed full support from the institution of the Ministry of Justice in fulfilling the objectives of her work for the most professional representation in the position of Representative at the FRA, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights.

According to Minister Gjonaj, this representation will help our country in achieving the major objective, that of EU membership. "I provided Ms. Alimehmeti with full support from the institution of the Ministry of Justice, in fulfilling the objectives of her work for the most professional representation in the position of Representative at FRA, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights", - adds Gjonaj . "The participation of the Republic of Albania in the work of the Agency as an observer will contribute to its gradual approximation with EU legislation and its successful preparation for membership in the European Union", - underlined Gjonaj.
