Albanian tourism this year due to the restrictions brought by the Covid-19 pandemic has managed to capture several new tourism markets.
Charters from Russia have been in greater flow than any other year. Also the abolition of visas for tourists from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates has filled the hotels of Tirana.
But, Albania this year has attracted many tourists from Balkan countries that do not have access to the sea such as Serbia and Romania, says expert Feriold Ozuni.
The interest of Serbian tourists is increasing. There is still no properly organized tourism for this country and most of them choose the coast of Saranda and Vlora.
