From 1 July 2021, the citizens of Kosovo, during their stay in one of the countries of the Western Balkans, will not pay any additional for regulated roaming services within the telecommunications, such as made or received calls and messages. That is the statement issued by the Kosovo Electronic and Postal Regulatory Authority (RAEPC).
This will be based on a roaming agreement between the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia). The first phase of implementation of the agreement started in 2019, where there was a reduction of prices up to 80 percent, while the second phase, or the complete elimination of tariffs, has been announced to be implemented on July 1, 2021.
Roaming tariff means telecommunication and service that citizens use in another country, from a center of the mobile telephony operator.
