The Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council, Majlinda Bregu participated in the online meeting of the Berlin Process Summit.
Bregu expressed through a reaction that the common regional market is a key link for better cooperation between the countries of the Western Balkans.
According to Bregu, regional cooperation will be successful only if it realizes concrete ideas and efforts remain real.
"Today at the Berlin Process Summit, organized by Chancellor Angela Merkel. Regional cooperation will be successful only if it implements concrete ideas and efforts remain real. The titles of the documents are of little importance then. The Common Regional Market is a key link for better cooperation between the countries of the Western Balkans," said Bregu.
"We know that the economies of the region will be competitive when there is a need for cooperation when needed. We can only hope that the differences will appear only when this is inevitable ", added Bregu.
The summit brought together in Berlin Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Ursula von der Leyen and the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans to reaffirm their commitment to the implementation of the common regional market in the Western Balkans.
