The opening of the border with the Greece has been postponed several times. The Kapshtica border crossing point will remain closed until March 8. This is announced by the Greek side which due to the increase in the number of those affected by Covid-19 has taken these measures. Meanwhile, the same measures taken since December continue to be the same, according to which leaving Albania and entering Greece from this crossing point is prohibited, while leaving Greece and entering our country is allowed from 6:00 to 22:00,B only for pedestrians and heavy tonnage vehicles such as freight trucks. The number of persons entering the Albanian territory from the Kapshtica crossing point remains low, where during the last 24 hours, according to official sources from the Local Directorate of Border and Migration, it is announced that 173 foreign citizens have entered Albania and Albanians as well as 82 vehicles. On the other hand, at the border crossing point of Qafë Thanë, in the last 24 hours, the inflow and outflow has continued to be high. In the last 24 hours 1882 citizens have entered and 1794 citizens have left.
