Bylis Archaeological Park grabs the attention of foreign scholars

Prime Minister Edi Rama brought Bylis Archaeological Park to the public attention, highlighting that the National Archaeological Park of Bylis is an evidence of the rich culture of our lands and an extraordinary asset, evidence of a rich culture in our lands, the only one in Albania with an area of 1000 m2, which has attracted the attention of foreign researchers from the National Center for Scientific Studies, "CNRS, Sorbonne University-Paris IV, where together with the National Institute of Cultural Heritage have developed the research-scientific mission" Corpus of Mosaics ", for the inventory, study and conservation of mosaics.

Bylis is the only archeological park in Albania with over 1000 m² mosaics of the Late Antiquity period and the only park in Albania with the highest density of basilicas within its territory.
The ancient city of Bylis lies just outside the small town of Ballsh, 10 km away, on the right side of the road, where a series of high hills stand out. The Bylis Theater is one of the largest monuments of this archeological center, which was built at the beginning of the 3rd century BC and has a capacity of 7500 seats, which means that it has been one of the greatest works of time.
