After months of pandemic, singer Ermal Meta plans to return to the stage, in his first musical tour.
A tour which will end the lack of concerts but which will have a great emotional importance for the Albanian singer because, one of his stops will be Tirana.
"On July 29, I will be at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana," Ermal Meta declared for the Italian media. "It has been 30 years since the communist regime collapsed and we thought of celebrating it with music," explains the author of "You Can't Do Anything for Me". I am Italian and Albanian and I have chosen to perform a concert in honor of the people from where I come from, who managed to gain freedom. "A lot has happened in recent years and the connection between Italy and Albania, two countries separated by only 70 kilometers of sea, is really beautiful."
Tirana will not be the only stop.
"On September 5, I am performing in Taormina, at the Antique Theater. I wanted to see this tour as a unique event, to listen to my songs live. I can not wait. We will also offer a live broadcast, to help you watch the concert from a screen even when you are at home. I like the idea of spreading it on the air."
