Covid-19/ 959 new cases, 6 loss of life in the last 24 hours. 30 patients in serious condition

959 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours and 6 loss of life. Currently, 215 patients are receiving treatment at COVID Hospitals, of which 30 are in a more serious condition.

The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over 18 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Anti-COVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.

We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows:


5106 tests have been performed in the last 24 hrs,  out of which 959 citizens were positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities: 347 in Tirana, 70 cases in Shkodra, 51 cases in Durres, 44 cases in Lushnje, 39 cases in Fier, 37 cases in Vlora, 35 cases in Korça, 29 cases in Kurbin, Elbasan, 24 cases in Berat, 23 cases in Kruja, 15 cases in Mallakastër, Pogradec, 14 cases in Saranda, 12 cases in Kavaja, 11 cases in Kukës, Lezhë, Gramsh, 10 cases in Dibër, Roskovec, 9 cases in Malësi e Madhe, Vora, 8 cases in Vau i Dejës, Delvinë, Dimal, 7 cases in Patos, 6 cases in Kamëz, 5 cases in Konispol, Devoll, Kuçovë, Peqin, 4 cases in Divjaka , Gjirokastër, Tepelena, Skrapar, 3 cases in Has, Mirditë, Shijak, Librazhd, 2 cases in Puka, Tropojë, Bulqiza, Selenica, Himara, Dropull, Këlcyrë, 1 case in Libohovë, Memaliaj, Maliq, Kolonjë, Poliçan.

There are 12,910 active COVID19 patients nationwide.

Currently, 215 patients are receiving treatment at COVID Hospitals, of which 30 are in a more serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours, six citizens have not won the battle with COVID19.
891 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of the recovered to 145,845 since the beginning of the epidemic.
