EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca held an online meeting with CEC Chairman Ilirjan Celibashi to discuss the implementation of the new electoral code for the April 25 elections. Soreca also called on Albanian citizens to renew their identity cards in order to have the right to vote in the April 25 parliamentary elections. ID cards are important for the biometric voting that will take place in the April 25 elections as part of the June 5 agreement reached between political parties.
