European Commissioner for Internal Affairs Ylva Johansson will visit Albania on Saturday.
Johansson will initially stop in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, after which he will travel to Albania. She will initially hold several meetings in Tirana with political leaders and key institutions in the country.
On Saturday, she meets President Ilir Meta, then Prime Minister Edi Rama, with whom she will have a press conference at 10:00, then meetings with Bledi Çuçi and Lulzim Basha.
After Tirana, Johansson travels to Kakavija to see and monitor Operation Frontex as well as an EU-funded project to protect migrants from COVID-19.
