The Ambassador of the United States of America in Tirana, Yuri Kim, has reacted again with a strong message to the political parties in the country before the April 25 elections.
Kim shared a post a few months ago that read: “Warning: As parties prepare for the election, leaders will be held accountable for those who run under their banner. Please check your candidates - do not insult voters, do not undermine democracy, do not promote corruption."
Meanwhile, Yuri Kim has reinforced her statement, saying that this warning remains in force. She cited as an example Tony Blinken, Pres Biden's nominee for Secretary of State, who said in his 1/19 session before the Senate: "We want to set up the work in the fight against corruption."
"If you want to know if this warning remains valid, this is what Tony Blinken, Pres Biden's nominee for Secretary of State, said in his 1/19 session before the Senate:" We want to step up our work in fighting corruption, ”. writes further Yuri Kim.
