On the second day of his visit to Kosovo, the European Union envoy for the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, met with heads of state and leaders of the main political forces.
Lajcak started the meeting with the Acting President Vjosa Osmani.
During the press conference, Lajcak said that the dialogue process should be concluded under Kurti's government and added that the dialogue belongs to everyone, not just one political party.
While, Osmani said that Serbia should be held accountable for the crimes committed and that a new chapter should be opened in the dialogue process.
Lajcak also met with the incumbent Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Ramush Haradinaj.
Hoti said that the dialogue will continue on three basic principles: a final agreement with mutual recognition will be discussed, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo is non-negotiable, while the Constitution of Kosovo is inviolable.
Miroslav Lajçak will stay in Prishtina tomorrow as well. He will then continue his visit to Serbia from March 3rd to 4th, and will also visit Montenegro as part of his regional mandate from March 4th to 5th.
