The President of Albania, Ilir Meta received in a meeting the Albanian Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani.
Meta stated that the active role of Albanians in Macedonian institutions is a proof of support for the Euro-Atlantic project. He attached importance to the boosting of the cooperation between the two countries, as NATO allies and with a common Euro-Atlantic vision.
The Head of State emphasized the further increase of economic and trade cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of promotion of foreign direct investments and participation in bilateral and regional projects for the benefit of the citizens of cross-border areas.
The President expressed his confidence that the implementation of reforms, respect for the European agenda and democratic developments in North Macedonia will enable the overcoming of obstacles in the process of its European integration.
President Meta underlined how two neighboring countries, NATO allies and with a common Euro-Atlantic vision, will have to further strengthen relations for the benefit of peace, stability and development of the region.
