Trade exchanges with EU countries during the first half of the year accounted for 61.8% of all trade, writes ATA.
According to a report recently published by INSTAT, in the period January-June exports to EU countries accounted for 72.5% of total exports and imports from EU countries accounted for 56.4% of total imports.
The main trading partners are Italy with 31.4% of the volume, Turkey with 7.9%, Greece with 7% and Germany with 6.6%.
During this semester, the countries with which Albania has had the largest increase in exports, compared to a year ago, are Italy, Kosovo and Spain. While the countries with which exports have had the largest decline, are the United Kingdom and Ukraine.
