Albania has lifted the quarantine for immigrants from Greece and North Macedonia.
Two weeks ago, the authorities in Albania decided to apply a two-week quarantine for citizens entering from these two countries.
The mandatory quarantine for immigrants from North Macedonia and Greece imposed by the Technical Committee of Experts due to disturbing figures in these two neighboring countries was in force until today (May 3rd).
The Technical Committee of Experts in Albania confirmed 2 weeks ago the new measure regarding the prevention of the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), which included quarantine for persons entering Albania from two neighboring countries.
It is learned that the Technical Committee will meet today to announce the decision, whether there will be lifting of these restrictions or not, or we will have an extension of the curfew.
