Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti announced today the return of reciprocity with Serbia, the abrogation he made when he took office.
Hoti said that in September they will send textbooks to Albanians in the Valley.
He was asked whether he would stop Serbian texts from entering Kosovo if Serbia did the same with the texts that Kosovo is planning to send there. The incumbent Prime Minister said that in such a situation, reciprocity measures could be restored.
"When we started the dialogue process, in the first weeks when I took over the Government, we removed the reciprocity measures and abrogated the decision on the tariff and what has been before, which paved the way for the dialogue process. This is done with a set time frame, for several months, and once this process is completed, either the process ends with mutual recognition, or we apply all reciprocity measures, without exception. For every measure that Serbia directs to us, we have the right and we will direct it to Serbia", said Hoti.
