The Ambassador of the European Union, Luigi Soreca has made an appeal to all young people to use their right to vote to change their future. Soreca says that they have the power to decide what they want through voting, while appealing that they do not waste this right.
During an activity for the Erasmus program at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Soreca said that Albanian youth should change their country through elections in order to see their future in Albania and not leave.
"I want to give a message to young people. These elections are important for the future of Albania, but even more important are these elections for you to stay in Albania. I invite young people to come out and vote. Vote in the ballot box, because that is the only way you will make a difference. Do not waste this right you have".
A few days ago, the EU asked the political parties to conduct an election campaign peacefully and without hate speech and encouraged the citizens of Albania to exercise their right to vote by respecting all measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
