EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca agreed with the call of the CEC Chief Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibshi for political parties, to conduct a peaceful campaign and allow citizens to choose who they want.
In a Twitter post, Soreca writes that the country's political parties and candidates need to focus on their respective political agendas and the reforms they aim for. He calls on political actors to act in accordance with international standards and CEC decisions.
"We agree with the chief commissioner Ilirjan Celibshi. Political parties and candidates must now focus on their respective political agendas and the reforms they aim to present to improve the lives of all citizens of Albania. We have confidence in all relevant and political institutions of Albania. The actors should act in accordance with international standards and the decisions of the CEC ", writes Soreca.
The Electoral College decided that the ballot paper will be numbered and to avoid any ambiguity or confusion of voters on Election Day, large posters will be posted on the walls in each center as well as leaflets in order to inform each citizen about the number that corresponds to each candidate.
