The Kosovo and Serbian delegations will meet today in Brussels as part of the dialogue process, at a time when tensions in the north have risen following reciprocity for vehicle license plates.
European Commission spokesman Peter Stano in a response to KosovaPress confirmed the meeting saying that they will support Kosovo and Serbia in calming the situation and finding a solution.
"I can confirm that the meeting of the chief negotiators will be held in Brussels on Wednesday," he said.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, proposed on Monday that both countries remove the application of temporary license plates.
"It is not worth having temporary license plates for both the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, we are removing them from both sides," said Kurti.
Opposition parties and those familiar with the dialogue process demand that Kosovo maintain stability and not abandon reciprocity of license plates.
