In this difficult period of pandemics, in which opera scenes all over the world remain locked, the National Theater of Opera and Ballet opened the season with the concert "Artists of the Future" in the newly reconstructed premises. Director of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet Zana Çela, considers it as one of the great achievements for the employment of young people in this institution. Zana Çela asesses the support of these young people as one of the biggest projects she has realized during her long tenure as director of TKOB
" We built a platform which not only envisioned the engagement strategy of young artists, concretized with titles of plays and roles where they were to participate. 102 artists and other young people were employed in technical and stage production or marketing. Today we open the artistic season 2021 exactly with their concert entitled "Artists of the future", with those who not only justified the support and training work of our staff, but have already returned to support us, in the assurance of continuity of the best tradition of vocal, ballet and instrumental interpretation, "says the Director Zana Çela.
Some of the well-known operas such as "Che gelida manina", "Semper Libera" and "Stride la vampa" performed by young artists, such as Denis Skura, Nina Muho or Ivana Hoxha and accompanied on piano by Herta Cene and Igli Rapaj was applauded by the public, who although due to anticovid measures was few in number, enjoyed the concert of the young virtuosos to the end. In recent years, the Opera House has employed about 100 artists, and the next concert in this institution will be this weekend.
