In February, the country exported goods worth 203.8 million euros, down slightly by 0.9% from February last year, but increased compared to January this year.
The biggest negative impact on the value of exports was given by the group of textiles and footwear with a decrease of 7.6%, compared to February 2020. Specifically in the first two months of this year the country exported 144 million euros from 163.2 million euros it exported last year.

On the other hand, imports seem to be defeating the pandemic, as they have increased by 0.9% compared to a year ago when the pandemic had not started, and have increased by 15% compared to January this year. In total, the country has bought goods worth 423.9 million euros from abroad. This month's trade deficit was 220.1 million euros, increasing by 2.7%, compared to February 2020 and by 26.7%, compared to January 2021.
