The US Embassy in Tirana has welcomed the qualification of 28 candidates of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)out of 37 in total. Through a post on social networks, it is written that the US will continue to support the Special Prosecution and the Albanian FBI in the fight against corruption and crime.
"Congratulations and good luck to the men and women who successfully completed the rigorous application process and will now begin training for the National Bureau of Investigation. The United States of America will continue to support the SPAK and those who respond to the call of duty to fight corruption and organized crime on behalf of the Albanian people. We expect soon another call for NBI investigators, to further strengthen this new institution ", writes the embassy.
NBI announced yesterday that the candidates will be notified individually, whether they have passed the security conditions or not. To be completed, NBI must have 60 members. Therefore, the recruitment process continues for the 32 “Investigative” positions, which have not been filled. Candidates will have to pass the physical test first and then a series of checks.
