The Municipality of Tirana will restore the tradition of White Night. After two years of interruption due to the earthquake and pandemic, the Albanian capital returns one of the most magical evenings on this eve of national holidays. The news was announced through a post on social networks by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who reveals that this year the holiday of November 29 will have 6 locations, restoring to the capital the liveliness of the night missing for two years .
"The tradition continues… On November 29, White Night: 6 locations, 6 activities," writes Veliaj, recalling the fact that Tirana is looking forward to 2022 when it will be the European Youth Capital which is opening more and more .
Skënderbej Square, Pjetër Bogdani Street in the area of the former Blloku, “Mustafa Matohiti” street, Reja, Italia Square and the former Rinia Park are the areas where festive activities and concerts are going to be held, and there will be surprises and events for children as well.
